Baby is not sleeping at night

Asked for Male, 1 Years

Baby is 20 days old and during night most of time he is crying and not sleeping, we try to feed him but after some time he is awake and crying. He is also passing lot of motion, mostly kind of loose and yellow in colour. Also, he is passing lot of gas.Can we give him some Medicine or grapewater for gas problem

No medicine is required. Just ensure breastfeeding at regular gaps of atleast 2 to 2-1/2 hours and burp the baby for 10 mins after every feed. Babies have colic for first 3-4 months of life,specially at evening and night time,all you have to do at that time is burping for 10 mins. Do NOT feed the baby at that time,UNLESS 2 hours have passed since the last feed.
