After 6 months of breastfeeding you can start on weaning but u have to continue breastfeeding asong as possible
In between feeds u can feed him
To start with u can start with rice it is gluten free and easily digestible u can add ghee initially u can also add milk in it .
Once baby start accepting it u can add other pulses mashed vegetables like potato also
U can start with fruits like banana and other fruits but if it is soft and mashed baby can accept it well
Slowly u can introduce other foods
To add nutritive value of food u can add jaggery /gud , ghee ,milk .
By 1 year baby can eat completely from the family food .

make sure the child is gaining weight when u start weaning
continue breastfeeding till 2years
maintain hygiene while weaning
