Baby food for 6 month baby
Hello doctors... Baby is 5 month and 20 days old.. Can starts semi food...??? If yes then suggest some food... And how much water he need after starts semi solid food...he is now on breastfeed... His birth weight is 3.040 gm now his weight is 6500 gm.. Is this normal??

dear parents, after completing 6 months, stop milk from 8amto8pm and give semisolid diet like Dal,dalia,khicdi alu kela rice,apple,upama,halwa,patolia,rab,kadi idle poha satu custard etc and from 80pmto8am give mother milk is preferable. to start with stop milk for 4hrs for 15days and give semisolid diet next 15days stop milk for 8hrs and give semisolid lastly stop milk from 8amto8pm and give semisolid diet. for your knowledge 100ml milk gives 70calories of energy 100ml juices give 55calories of energy and 100gm of semisolid diet gives 350calories of energy. give water as per kid demand, no body quantify water . good weight.

weight is normal for Acute gastroenteritis , kindly start solids after the baby has completed 6 months
