Baby feeding
My fine is taking pain killer, so how long baby should be kept away form breast feeding. Or can we use diluted cow milk for time being. Baby is not comfortable with powder milk.

Thank you for your question. Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs such as diclofenac and brufen or paracetamol added do not affect the baby through breast milk and so breast feeding is not contraindicated. If she is taking any other painkillers please consult your doctor who prescribed them. Barring some opioid based painkillers most are OK to take when breast feeding. Best wishes
