Baby Feeding
Hi, My baby is 2months old. I've started bottle feeding since my breastmilk production was low because of thyroid issues. She doesn't take milk if I feed with spoon so I started using bottle. Are there any complications with bottle feeding? Now my thyroid levels are normal but milk supply has not improved. I tried ayurvedic preparations but didn't get any result. How can I improve my breastmilk production now?

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Bottle feeding can expose baby to infections. Do observe proper bottle hygiene. Have 4-5 bottles so that your workload decreases. Also breast feeding baby as often as 2-3 hourly itself can help you increase production. Don't have negative thought about low production. Do  read my article it may help you.
