Baby Development
Our baby was born with severe birth asphyxia(HIE-2). Baby kept in NICU for 6 days(2 days on mechanical ventilator). On the 3rd day baby had one episode of convulsion(twice). Now baby is 4.5 months old, not making eye contact with people. He smiles looking at corners. Neck holding is 70%. Cooing is fine. Paed says he is getting better. Still worried

Some amount of delayed milestones might be there. But way you describe is its better I also feel. Be in constant follow up with your pediatrician and physiotherapist. That should help to identify delays early and to institute the treatment early.
