Baby consumed hair strand while feeding
Hi doctor, I doubt my son who is 4months old has consumed my hair strand while breastfeeding. Please suggest on how to confirm if he consumed or not  , is it an emergency , he generally poop once in a 5 days . He is only exclusive breast feed. As I have got huge hair fall problem after my delivery , every near place on my dress every where hair strands appears ,which I suspect he would have consumed many times. Please suggest. Thanks,

Hopefully he ll excrete out the hair in his next stools Wear a scarf or cover head while feeding to avoid future mishaps

There is no way to confirm if he has ingested your hair. This is not an emergency...so you don't need to worry. But please try to tie up your hair in a bun while breastfeeding so that there are minimal chances of further hair consumption. You can take multivitamin and calcium supplements to reduce hair fall. Pooping once in 5 days is normal.
