Hi i think you mean ear piece of headphones. The ear piece typiccally contains plastic and flexible rubber(inner n outer layer respectively).Generally small pieces if accidentally swallowed wont cause much damage;but still visit a casualty of hospital for precaution. Also eating a banana will help create lubrication between earpiece and intestine preventing abrasions. Also watch his stools for next few days for expelled material.
