Baby 8 months
How much water to feed an 8 month old? She is having constipation quite often. She eats oats and banana for breakfast, Khichdi for lunch, sooji for dinner, also, she eats apple puree as afternoon snack, and 3or 4 milk feeds in between. What can I do about baby's constipation problem?

Water should be given as per demand. For constipation, you can add some fibre in her diet. Such as introduce some veggies in her khichdi like palak puree. And you can add ghee in her khichdi

Water should be given as much as child wants or you should offer her water every 1 hourly Increase the content of green leafy veggies, fruits and reduce a little milk intake. Regards Dr Neha Pandey MBBS MD DNB FMUHS FISPN PediaCare Clinic Malad West
