Azacitidine and Black Pepper
Hi, My mother is currently getting azacitidine injections for leukaemia. She has told me she is not allowed black pepper and I think this was the rules from her last (different) type of chemotherapy when she was staying in Hospital. I am wondering if it is okay to have black pepper in your diet if you are also getting azacitidine injections? Many thanks, Lukas

I think it is ok to take. Unless there are absolute contraindications. Needs to see all reports and patient history..

Generally oil, spices and outside food are restricted. She can take once in a while, if she can... only concern is gastritis....ask your oncologist.
