Me and my wife had un protected sex, she took contraceptive pill within 24 hours after sex. Before sex she did not take the pill. How many days should she consume pill to avoid pregnancy? Ovar L pill name.

Effectiveness of the pills ( ovral l) depends on what day of her menstrual cycle she has started them. If it is started beyond 5th day of her menstrual cycle , she can still conceive. I-pill is a better option than ovral l as an emergency contraception and should be taken within 12hours of unprotected sex. So wait for periods and in case it is delayed consult your doctor.
