Avoding pregnancy

We had unprotected sex and he came inside my vagina. I immediately washed my vagina and took an i-pill (Emergency contraceptive) within an hour of the act. My start date of last menstrual cycle was 8th of the month and the act happened on the 24th-25th. Will the pill work even if I was ovulating? Is there an alternative tablet/process that could prevent the pregnancy 100%? Also, this was our first intercourse ever. Could you please give a solution, we're still within 24 hours of the act and a timely response could help us with any other prevention method that falls within 72 hours. Please help.
