Average time period of starting symptom

Asked for Male, 23 Years

Five years ago I was bitten by dog in my leg there was no bleeding or Redspot .only one or two small white scratch were present because I weare pant at that time .I take only one vaccine .because there was school incident so it was no possible to see dog for 10 days .that dog had habit to run or bark on bike or cycle . What is the averge time period of symptoms second question is if virus entered in a men but not reached in brain can vaccination help sir please described briefly
