Atrophic rhinitis
My mother has atrophic rhinitis.Is atrophic rhinitis curable and sense of smell will  come back again?

Atrophic rhinitis is a chronic granulomatous condition of nose. First line of treatment would be to do regular alkaline nasal douching and glucose glycerin nose drops. If it fails then surgery such as Youngs operation is beneficial. Whatever the treatment is recovery from anosmia is not guaranteed
