My mother had a chest ct scan and it showed atherosclerotic mural calcification noted in arch of aorta. We are extremely scared. She has no symptoms or chest pain. Can this be treated? I am so tensed she is 55 year old and has a family history of heart attack.

Nothing to be scared of. Everyone at this age develops some degree of atherosclerotic calcification. No need to worry if she has no symptoms. Consult a cardiologist if she has chest pain while walking.
She has to keep all her parameters in check snd controlled
BP / diabetes / lipid profile - cholesterol , TG
As these may aggravate and contribute to the problem
