Asthma and severe obstruction
Hello Dr. I am 27 years old female. I have been diagnosed with severe obstruction with predicted FEV1 42%. I have been given the following medications: 1) Tab - Methylprednisolone 16 mg (BD) 2) Tab - Monteleukast 10 mg + Fexofenadine 120 mg (OD) 3) Tab - Acebrophylline 200 mg (OD) 4) Tab - Levofloxacin 750 mg (OD) 5) Nasal Spray - Fluticasone 140 mcg + Azelastine 50 mcg (BD) 6) Nebulizer - Duolin LD + Budecort 0.5 Respules (BD) But I am feeling that the dose is heavier for me. Is it so?

Hi This is due to severe level of obstruction. You need to take these treatment for five days only. After Antibiotics will be stopped. You need to continue only maintenance drugs.
