Doctors have advised me for a surgery. Is it safe, and are there any risks involved ? Also what do bio absorbable sutures mean? Will it dissolve in the body or will remain there always? I have tear in the posterior labrum 7-12 .

If there is instability and pain in shoulder- better to take risk and have surgery done. If you are asymptomatic - you might not need it.
