My mother has cataract and she keeps applying home made kajal before sleeping daily, should she continue doing that?

Kajal of any origin is not good for eyes. Better stop using it, but it may not be possible with oldies.

Kajal is harmful for eyes.
I would suggest to stop using it.
Since she has cataract, she needs surgery.
