I have done ct scan in which it shows appendix and my doctor suggested me some antibiotics and said to do ultrasound after 1 month...in ultrasound it shows nothing..ultrasound is normal..but still i feel that something is inside..
Now new ct scan is done yesterday and it shows..appendix appears collapsed with subtle exaggerated musocal enhancement with areas of submucosal fat deposit.

Any pain over right lower abdomen? Vomiting? Fever? How’s your appetite?
I need to know the size and diameter of the appendix along with if there’s any surrounding fat stranding or collection in the CT.
It might be a case of subacute appendicitis for which you were treated before.
Next Steps
Review of CT scan with radiologist and definitely plan surgery if acute..If subacute and causing recurring symptoms it’s better to go for surgery(laparoscopic appendectomy).
Health Tips
Watch out for right lower abdomen pain, vomiting, fever.
appendicitis may be resolved with treatment given. But there are always chances of recurrent appendicitis even it is low as 20% chance. Presence of fecolith is one factor which you may go for prophylactic appendectomy.
Next Steps
if you experience any pain recurrently better go for laparoscopic appendicectomy
Health Tips
suspicion of neoplasms in appendicectomy specimens is as low as 1%
