I got my surgery on 8 dec 2020 and after 8days i got my staples removed and after 2 days wound get opened and whit fluid comes out.
and doctor who did the surgery says stiches got open and he removes internal stiches. now he do dressing on open wound by putting cotton in it and some capsule in it.
how many weeks it will take to heal now or should I consult another surgeon. cause i think he did big mistake by not taking proper internal stiches. i dont know
should I keep going with the current treatment?

It's most probably a post surgical wound infection. It can happen to anyone.. Even if done by the best surgeon. Every surgeon takes full precaution so that it doesn't happen. Once the infection subsides it needs to be sutured.. Its called secondary suturing
Always trust on your doctor that will help you heal faster. Sometime there’s post operative wound infection which is Normal and get healed in few weeks with proper dressing and antibiotics coverage
It is a common problem post operation, it depends on patient and type of operation ,
Regular dressing will slowly close the suture line what ur dr is doing is right ,
Alternative option is to re-suture ur open wound if it is not infected or if it is a big opening.
In this situation u need to be little patient ur wound will definitely close with regular dressing also
No need to change ur dr
