Anxiety or depression not sure
Hi , I have been suffering from sleeping paralysis and less sleep . I do yoga, I exercise well , eat healthy and still I don't feel relaxed , I cant sleep well. I feel always anxious , sad, hurt most of the time . There have been many incidents in my life but now everything is in its place but still I experience anxiety almost in everything. my sleeping paralysis has to increased, Migraine pain has increased .. Not sure what could be the trigger point . I think I need help cz I wake up tensed and stressed and cannot sleep more than 3 hours at a stretch . Do I check with a psychiatrist or a psychologist or do I really need a checkup ?

Hello Friend, thanks for reaching out here for help.Good that  you have done a reasonable effort already to handle the suitation. If your anxiety is due to past bad experiences which you are still not able to recover, then you may need a support of psychiatrist. Just want to share a different perspective of your problem through Ayurveda angle. See if it  helps. Symptoms of anxiety, sleeplessness, nervousness, migraine etc are relates to imbalanced air energy in body called Vata. Vata is the movement principle in body..It get imbalance due to  few  taste of food, lifestyle disorders, general body type, climate  etc. Ex: taste like bitter, spicy, astringent  increases Vata. Similar Fasting and excess exercise also increases Vata. Ayurveda provides home remedies and therapy for such symptoms.
