The temporary increase to **Prodep 20 mg** (fluoxetine) is a standard approach to provide extra symptom cover during potentially stressful transitions like traveling.
Because Prodep has a very long half-life in the body, a dose change typically takes a couple of weeks to fully stabilize. This means it is unlikely to cause abrupt, severe side effects, but you might notice mild, transient changes such as temporary nausea, slight jitteriness, or minor sleep adjustments.
**Important Precautions:**
* **Follow Your Doctor's Plan:** Stick exactly to the specific schedule your psychiatrist gave you.
* **Lenozep Warning:** You noted stopping Lenozep 15 days ago. If you experience any sudden rebound anxiety or severe insomnia, contact your doctor immediately, as these could be related to stopping that medication rather than starting the higher Prodep dose.
Enjoy your vacation, and reach out to your healthcare provider if any new or disruptive symptoms arise.
