Anxiety issues are common during this period. If you're  taking for it, don't stop to take them on your own otherwise it's going to worsen your Anxiety and make the whole journey to motherhood very distressing. Anxiety disorder isn't a contraindication for vaginal delivery.

Hi, your concern is quite understandable. If you have been diagnosed by a mental health expert and are already on a treatment plan then it’s best to let your practitioner know about your concerns so they can see what best can be done in your interest at this point. A higher pulse rate is generally expected in pregnant state but your psychiatrist should be able to tell you whether this is the physiological ( expected) symptom of pregnancy or whether it is arising out of your anxiety or maybe another medical condition. Having an anxiety disorder is not a contra-indication for a vaginal birth and is unlikely to cause any major problems to your baby, but if symptoms are not addressed it might make the whole process distressing for you. Generally, hypnobirthing methods, relaxation training and other guided meditation and breathing excercises are known to work great in relieving some of the symptoms of anxiety associated with labour and delivery. Healthy diet, hydration, adequate sleep, and speaking to trusted friends or relatives or experienced mamas are great ways to vent some of the negative thoughts. Wish you a smooth and happy journey to motherhood!

It is entirely up to you and how you feel about it. Anxiety disorder per se isn’t an indication for c-section. Whilst natural delivery is recommended by most doctors, it is not the rule. Try your best for a normal delivery through anxiety reliving techniques- breathing and meditation or CBT. If not you could discuss with your doctor about elective c- section.
