Anxiety and BP
Hi Doctors I have anxiety disorder since Pandemic Due to that my BP rises till 140/100. Took metasartan 25 and stopped it as per doctor advice. All my TMT, ECHO,ECG, Troponin were normal. Randomly checked my BP 2 weeks back for 4 days where it shows 130/84, 102/82,124/85 and 120/82.took this after stopping BP tablets. Is it normal and I'm fine . Please suggest. TSH -2 Lipid total 197,LDL 124, Triglycerides-244,HDL-37. No family history of cardiac related issues . And every elder in the family is very healthy and survival rate is more than 70

You are LDL and triglyceride levels are above normal and needs either Strict lifestyle modification or addition of drug if diet does not help. BP readings could be due to anxiety and all the BP readings that you mentioned are absolutely normal. If anxiety is the cause of elevated BP just lifestyle changes should improve BP and did not take any medication. Practice yoga meditation daily with a regular exercise and low salt and diet.
