Antral gastritis and antral erosiona

Asked for Female, 25 Years

Hi, i have done 5 endoscopies till now. From the beginning itself the result shows GERD, haital hernia and gastritis. But the final result shows that i am having Antral gastritis and Antral erosios, grade A reflux. What does it mean. ??Does antral gastritis is something which i need to fear?? How it caused?and what are the treatments??

Hi as your symptoms are suggestive of gastritis.Follow some lifestyle changes. Take your food timely. Avoid cabbage, capsicum, citrus fruits ( for a while). Don't drink water with food, take after 40 min. as much as you want thereafter. Don't lie down immediately after food. Finish your night meal by 8.30 pm maximum. Go to bed after minimum 1 hour after dinner. Always keep your stomach 1/4 th empty. You can divide your meal into 5-6 times a day. Avoid the particular food, which you observed that after taking you feel bloating, fullness, upper abdominal pain/ discomfort, reflux symptoms etc.Feel free to ask any further quary related to your problem.
