Ankle tissue
My mother fell off the bed in sleep 2 days back. She had a lot of pain in ankle. We got X-ray done. The technician says the muscle tear in ankle. What medicine and treatment should be taken?

If she can go and consult an orthopaedic it would be better. The X-ray report is normal and we cannot comment on muscle tear on X-ray. Seems that she might be having lot of swelling for the technician to say that. She will need anti inflammatory and other medicines to reduce swelling and rest to part in form of immobilisation with plaster slab, splint or bandage.
Health Tips
Apply Ice compress 3-4 times a day till then
