Ankilosis spondilosis
My sis suffering from ankilosis spondilosis since 1 year and Dr rheumatologist diagnosed ankilosis spondilosis and drug given but reaction occr so not taken drug but regular exercise is done but last ten days left leg start pain before only right leg and gluteal region pain but right now left also pain what can do sir ...and please tell best treatment

Hi there... I understand your concern towards your sisters condition... Treatment options are over the counter pain medications, NSAIDS, steroids,TNF blockers...detailed examination and evaluation is necessary before starting treatment....Ensure that she maintain an appropriate posture while working or sitting or walking....advice her to take frequent stretch breaks and drink lots of water...Discontinue using pillow while sleeping straight... Tell her to avoid lifting heavy objects, especially after bending down,Eat a healthy wholesome meal which should satisfy your minerals and proteins requirement...be in a regular fallow up with your rheumatologist they will do the needful.
