My father recently underwent a TMT test. I have given the report link at the end. My hometown doctor said that an angioplasty should be done. If the TMT is reported positive with associated symptoms and details like associated high BP or diabetes, it may be indicated to do a diagnostic coronary angiography.It is a diagnostic procedure to know if there are any significant blockages in the blood vessels that supply the heart Angioplasty means doing an intervention procedure to open a blockage if found..You are confusing between the two...
