Age 64...diabetes patient ( but after medicine in control ) Tmt mildly positive...docter said go for angiogram...i want to know .. ct angiogram or standard angiogram..which one is good..

Considering he is diabetic and 64, it is advisable to go for angiography only as chances of coronary artery disease are more in diabetic patients. Again depends if he has got symptom not. How is the TMT.

The CT angiograms accurately identified 85% of the patients who had significant stenoses and 90% of the patients without coronary artery disease.so noninvasive CT angiography was almost as accurate as conventional angiography.
