My daughter gets angioedema on the forehead, lips, wrist, legs as a reaction to some drugs like Crocin, Saridon and Neurobion. These episodes have also happened when she was under academic stress. During our recent visit to the US, she had severe vomiting and stomach ache when she was jet lagged. On investigation by the doc there, WBC was slightly elevated. She reacted badly to a ant-nausea drug prescribed by the physician there with swelling on the lips and tongue. The tongue stuck out and she got canker sores. The emergency cell there treated her with Benadryl which eventually helped her symptoms to subside. I understand she has to be tested by drug challenge and immunology markers. We are based out of Maldives and she studies in Manipal. Can you suggest a course of action please. Thanks in advance.
