Anemia problem with low heamoglobin

My father has been diagnosed anemia.frim the time he was diagnosed this problem, he had 3 blood transfusion and total of 10 units of blood is transfused.
Is there any way out that this can be cured.
Because this blood transfusion is making him weaker day by day and it is a expensive way.
