Androgenic Hair loss PCOS
I have severe hair fall since last one year. Gynaecologist told me this was male pattern alopecia due to PCOS. She told me to reduce a few kilograms body fat and increase protein intake, which I followed and PCOS symptoms are currently under control. I got my blood tests done - TSH, insulin etc. All parameters are within normal range. No stressful events or major health issues in the past year. I used Minoxidil, anti-dandruff shampoo and multivitamins for three months. There is some visible hair re-growth but hair fall is still significant. Volume of hair is going down everyday in a noticeable manner. Pls suggest a solution!
