Androgenetic alopecia in female
I am 33 years old woman. I am suffering from hair thinning throughout my head.Earlier, I had a good volume of hair and slowly, over the time, I have lost a lot of my hairs. Moreover, it hasn't grown back. Now my scalp is also visible. I got a check up done and learnt that I am suffering from androgenetic alopecia. Now my hair density has decreased and it's ruining my self confidence. My hair also is very fragile. It breaks easily. Through a friend's recommendation, I have been using the minoxidil two percent liquid since past six months. I am not however, seeing any visible results. Is it possible to restore the lost hair or grow new hair? Kindly help.

Androgenetic alopecia or Hair loss from the hairline or crown can occur due to many reasons, more commonly due to hormonal effect, nutrition and lifestyle imbalance. The exact reason can be found out by taking detailed history and hair analysis . Accordingly, anti hairloss medicines, hair specific multivitamins, lotions and gels are prescribed. Many non surgical external treatments are available that show good results. These are mesoporation with hair peptides, stemcell, dermaroller, PRP etc. that are prescribed according to diagnosis. You can expect results in 6 to 8 months with a combination of these treatments.
