HELLO, ESR REFLECTS ANY CHRONIC ILLNESS, IT IS NOT SO HIGH TO PANIC. TAKE TREATMENT OF FISTULA BY YOUR TREATING DOCTOR OR TAKE SECOND OPINION. THAT'S ALL. O.K BYE.

Yes fistula may also cause incresed ESR levels. In your case it is less likely to be dangerous. Elevated ESR result often indicates the presence of inflammation but does not tell the health practitioner exactly where the inflammation is in the body or what is causing it. Single elevated ESR, without any symptoms of a specific disease, will usually not give enough information to make a medical decision. It indicates inflammation in the body. ESR along with other symptoms may guide the physician to know more about the cause. Usually others lab tests will be done along with ESR to confirm diagnosis. .

Hi Increased ESR is seen in inflammatory pathologies. Even in anal fistula it may be raised. If you are already under treatment for anal fistula(surgical/parasurgical) and if the raise in ESR is due to anal fistula then after the proper healing it may be normal.
Next Steps
Screening to rule out other conditions related to raised ESR
