An occasional lump on left side of front

Asked for Female, 25 Years

I have a small lump on the left side of my neck which appears occasionally only, usually appears when I talk or laugh more. It is not a lump that canbe seen on my body but appears only on such situations.it is tender. What could be the probable cause and is it a symptom? No pain
