I had my OCT done a month back and the doctor said it was normal, now i am experiencing slight wavy lines from my right eye. I do have cataract...more on my left and less on my right. I am posting my Amsler grid and red circle indicates where i have seen the wavy line, what is it ? Is it bad ?

I'm sorry to hear about your symptoms. The appearance of wavy lines on the Amsler grid can be a concerning sign, especially if you have a history of cataracts. It could indicate a condition called macular degeneration, specifically the "wet" form, which is characterized by the growth of abnormal blood vessels in the macula. It is important to consult with your ophthalmologist or eye care professional for a thorough evaluation and accurate diagnosis. They will be able to examine your eyes, review your medical history, and perform any necessary tests to determine the cause of your symptoms. Early detection and intervention are crucial in managing eye conditions, so I encourage you to schedule an appointment with your eye care professional as soon as possible. They will be able to provide you with the appropriate guidance and treatment options based on your specific situation.
