Wisdom tooth problem
Hi few yrs back I gone under the RCT OF LOWER LEFT WISDOM TOOTH.NOW m having pain in it.also many times I observed swelling in my jaws
It could be because of RCT failure or may be because of inflammation of surrounding tissues of tooth due food lodgement, inadequate cleaning.
Get yourself a checkup done .Your dentist would let you know if a re-rct can be done to tooth or it needs to be extracted.

Hello... Usually the root canal treatment is not preferred for wisdom teeth unless in some situations like when it has to serve as an abutment ( support) for the adjacent missing teeth etc... When wisdom teeth are with deep caries causing pain or have erupted in a different position posing a problem for the adjacent teeth (impaction), they are usually extracted instead of saving as it's the best permanent solution... moreover after root canal treatment, there will be no pain... In ur case, clinical correlation is a must with a diagnostic x-ray...so please reconsult ur doctor for the needful...
