Wisdom tooth in lower left

Hi, I have pain due to my wisdom tooth. I am not able to shut my mouth completely. Because wisdom tooth and nearby bump flesh are getting presses and causing pain. I showed it to a nearby dentist and she asked me to go for an extraction. Please check my X-ray and provide the suggestions because I don't want to go for surgery. (I am not able to attach image) But by X-ray I can say wisdom tooth is coming out normally and with proper gap to adjecent teeth. Thanks

Hello, in case of wisdom teeth infection, tooth removal is the most reliable treatment. So If your Dentist has already g one through your dental checkup and xrays and advised the wisdom tooth removal, I would suggest you follow that. Taking medicines for many years or months for this is not advisable. Hope this helped.

Maintain oral hygiene. Warm saline rinses thrice a day. Betadine mouthwash/gargle, 3-4 times a day. Do share/upload x ray for proper evaluation. Visit a local oral medicine specialist for physical evaluation and treatment (if required).

If your dentist has recommended extraction, it's important to consider their professional opinion. They have likely assessed your specific situation and determined that extraction is the best course of action. Wisdom tooth extraction is a common procedure to address issues such as pain, impaction, infection, or crowding. While you may prefer to avoid surgery, it's important to understand that extraction is a relatively routine and safe procedure. Dentists and oral surgeons are experienced in performing wisdom tooth extractions and can help minimize any discomfort during the process. If you're still hesitant about extraction, you may want to consider seeking a second opinion from another dentist or oral surgeon. They can review your X-ray and provide their professional advice based on your specific circumstances. They may also be able to suggest alternative treatments or interventions, if appropriate. Keep in mind that without viewing the X-ray or having a direct examination, it's challenging to provide precise recommendations. It's best to consult with a dental professional who can evaluate your situation in person and provide tailored advice based on your specific needs.
