In the past 3 months i have met 5 dentists and 2 maxillofacial and oral surgeon in total 7 for my lower left wisdom tooth extraction. The told me to do xray, cbct and blood test. All blood test normal. They are telling me there is a possibility of temperory or permanent parasthesia and jaw fracture after tooth extraction. One of my friend adviced me to go to govt hospital saying they have more responsible and experienced surgens. I even did that but even the surgeon in govt hospital said the samething. That there is a 50% possibility it can damage your lingual nerve than can cause speech problems can affect taste and sensation loss tickling or burning can effect your lower lip jaw tongue.. the teeth has a big cavity. I took antibiotics for 3 days its not paining since then. I m attaching my cbct, xray plz suggest me show i extract it or no? I m very upset and unable to make a decision. The surgeon i interacted with scared me a lot but i understand its their duty to inform so i m here.
