Yes LASER assisted surgery is better but then it adds to the cost. The conventional flap raising method is time tested.

If the doctor has advised you to remove it pls do so.  These days with all the latest equipments combined with the doctors skills it's not as painful to remove the wisdom tooth.  pls trust your dentist & get it removed.  yes since it's a wisdom tooth compared to the other teeth there will be little pain & swelling but it won't be as bad & can be controlled with medications.  It won't be so bad that your normal routine will be hampered.

You have to take medication pre operatively and then go for surgical removal of the tooth. .you can go for laser assisted surgery but even under normal anaesthesia it is absolutely painless ..and even healing is uneventful because of anti swelling and fast healing medicines. .treatment will be confirmed after clinical examination and X ray investigation. .

Dear Practo User, A wisdom tooth causing discomfort should be removed as soon as possible. As of laser assisted surgery is considered, it definitely helps in reducing trauma. You can consult a dentist nearby practicing laser dentistry. Regards Dr Ankit Jain Arham Dental Care, Implant and Laser Centre Delhi
