White tiny spots on buccal mucosa

2024-03-18 07:37:44
Since many months, i have seen when i lick my buccal mucosa in the lower side it feels like some dots are present. If i use my teeth and pull one of those it doesn't hurt. Is that a fungal infection or is that something else? No burning no pain etc. I don't smoke or eat tobacco. I tried to click pics but if i flash my phone and see closely, then only its visible, otherwise not. It's present bilaterally

These are most probably fordyce granules, these are normal anatomic variations of the oral cavity nothing to worry about. Do you look often in the mirror in search of some abnormalities in the oral cavity?

It is most likely to be yellow spots present bilaterally. It's called Fordyce spots (ectopic sebaceous glands). That's a normal appearance.
