Hi mam...
The word COLD you mention is not clear mam, whether you are mentioning common cols or having cold food items..
Let me explain both
If you are getting tooth ache during common cold means it is due to SINUSITIS....
Sinusitis is inflammation of sinus due to infection....
FLOOR OF MAXILLARY SINUS is near to the upper back teeth region ...so, whenever you have cold , you will have reffered pain in your upper back teeth
If you are getting tooth ache by taking cold food items, it may be due to cavitation,or erosion which expose underlying dentin layer...In this condition Simple filling has to be done to cover the exposed dentin..
You need to take x_ray(IOPA) of involved tooth to determine the depth of cavitation....
Next Steps
kindly visit nearby dentist without delay for furthur consultation and management....If the tooth pain is due to common cold then you need to consult with ENT SPECIALIST....
