My mother got her tooth extracted today.. there is a continous bleeding from the place where tooth was extracted

Use a small cotton ball dipped in ice cold water and keep it pressed lightly for an hour or so. Light oozing or blood tinged saliva is normal after extraction. If bleeding is more , your dentist may need to put a suture there.

Check if your mother is taking any blood thinners like aspirin which can cause bleeding

Put a gauze piece above extraction socket and close the mouth . Keep it for atleast 20 mins if bleeding doesn't stop then put a tea bag and close the mouth .
Check after 15-20 mins if it's still bleeding consult a oral surgeon for immediate help
