If the concerned tooth is a wisdom tooth, you can go for extraction. But if its any ither tooth, its recommended for you to go under rct and save the remaining tooth structure. Extracting other molars than wisdom tooth will cause multiple problems in future.
Next Steps
share the tooth number and picture if possible.
Health Tips
consult the doctor regarding the tooth number and how grossly affected it is.

If its a wisdom tooth you can do extraction. No need to replace wisdom tooth with artificial tooth. If any other tooth then it should surely be saved with RCT and put crown on it. If any tooth other than wisdom tooth is removed then it needs to be replaced with denture, bridge or implant.
Next Steps
post x rays.
