There's a wart on my thumb which is not painful though. Is there any medicine to get rid of it and how did i get warts on my thumb ? Last month n half ago i was busy at the hospital taking care of my grandmother especially in and out of the ICU so is this a cause of the infection?

warts on the thumb are caused by infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV), usually through tiny cuts or skin damage. The virus spreads by direct contact or using shared items like towels.
Next Steps
Consult online - first confirm the diagnosis, second treatment accordingly.
Health Tips
Stop scratching it or trying to remove it on your own. As it may recur again and again if removed incompletely.
