2022-07-11 18:28:49
I have tested my vitamin d total to be 8.6 . After that I am taking 1000iu vitamin d3 from last one month. What to do next? Should I continue with 2000 iu/day?

The dosage you r taking is too less so better take 6 lac unit either orally or by injection. Then u can maintain it by taking proper sunlight

Hi Such a low vit d level won't be corrected with these amount of supplements. You need to take injectable form 6 lac unit or oral supplements  in 60k unit.
Next Steps

Consult with physician. According to your recent level (8.6) 1000IU doesn't helps you .Better to take appropriate dosage as per physician.
