Vitamin D tablets

I had sever deficiency of vitamin D. I was advised to take vitamin d tablet for 8 weeks. Now doctor suggested me to take further 4 weeks. Is it safe to take for another 4 weeks ?

It is safe. In severe Vit D3 deficiency you should take the medicine for at least 12 weeks, may be more.

Yes it is safe since you have severe deficiency and if the levels are still below the adequate range. You can continue for 1-2 months. But after that please check your vit d level.

For severe deficiency you may take inj arachitol 1 amp imly once a month 4 mths Yes if vit d3 is less in blood report you may continue for 2 mth
