Vitamin d deficiency
My vitamin d level are 20ng/ml . My doctor prescribed me 1 6L unit injection . Is it sufficient or should i take more injection of it . Please answer dont say you need to consult me for this .

the answer is not simple yes or no dear, injection of 6 lakh unit will give sufficient rise but should be rechecked after 4 weeks to check adequecy and note more dose of vit d have side effect unlike water soluble bitamin b which can be taken extra but vit a and d overdose is not advised so without consultation dont take additional dose

you can take oral tablet or sunlight exposure for 20 minutes daily will help you and yearly check vit d levels, simply the anwer is one dose should be sufficient but cant be warranted and additional should not be taken withoud consultation

For vitamin d level of 20ng ,1 injection 6l unit is good enough.Repeat the test after a month,if still insufficient,go for weekly once vitamin d 60000 iu

Yes it is enough.
Meanwhile increase morning Sun exposure to get vitamin D
Also if you are non vegetarian you can increase Fish intake.
