Vit D Deficiency

2026-02-15 13:37:58
I got tested in September and vit D levels were 7.5 ng/mol. Took 60k IU pills weekly for 8 weeks then stopped. Didn't take any pills for next 2 months. Got tested again in Jan end. Level were 30.5 ng/mol. Took one pill on 1st Feb and another on 14th feb, both 60k IU I read only it should be monthly after 8 weeks of weekly dosage. Since I took two this month, is dosage fine and safe?

Hi It is very important to follow medical instructions while taking medications. Since the level has reached 30 no/ dl there was no necessity to have taken extra medication right now. Now pls do not continue the medication for the next 2 to 3 months after which you could take 1 every month.
