Vertigo attack..

I have been taking Lonazep.0.5 and tryptomer 25 for sleep disorder and anxiety I got two vertigo attacks since I started taking these medicines. Before this I was taking LIBOTRYP DS and amitriptyline 25mg but never had vertigo. any advice?

If you think they are related then it may be worth waiting a few days and seeing if this recurs. If so, a review of medications may be warranted with your psychiatrist

Hi there A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed for every case.And also a detailed mental status examination is also recommended for every case to come for a diagnosis and management accordingly. Libotryp DS is a combination of Tryptomer (Amitriptyline) and a benzodiazepine. You switched almost similar combination. Generally vertigo type are unlikely at such dosages, drowsiness can happen. Without any detailed history, it will be difficult to comment further.
